Golden Hour

Golden hour is a beautiful color. Wondering how is hour/time related to color. Common Think!! Think!!!!!

Golden hour is a period of a day which is just before the sunset or when sun is rising. It is the first 30mins after the sunrise and last one hour after before sunset, which produces a warm natural light in the sky. This is the time when the light is Red/Orange and the sky looks like a heaven. This window of time depends on the geographical as well as the season of the period. Golden hour is also called as magical hour.

In geographical terminology it occurs when the sun is between 6 degrees below the horizon and 6 degree above the horizon. Often photographers and filmmakers take the pictures during this time of the day. It will be amazing to look at it because of its pleasing quality of the nature. We get to see yellow, orange and red color during this time. Sun is most of the time red, as it has the longest wavelength of any visible light. The sun is red when its on the horizon where its extremely long path through the atmosphere. This light is the standard refraction of sun's rays when the upper edge of the sun's disk is coincident with an ideal horizon.

I enjoy this golden hour during the sunset the most. As we all know sundown is a beautiful and mesmerizing thing to watch in once life. It is very beautiful when we watch in the beach, bare land and with a clear sky. Sundown is a other name for sunset. Hope you would have enjoyed this golden hour in your life!!
