Incident In The Book Store.....

 You all read books right? you all have your favorite books and their authors. I like one author from the book which I read. The book was so good. But, unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the author. But, I saw him somewhere and I also had a very dangerous incident with him in a book store. I will tell you my experience about it..


It was a very good Saturday morning and I was walking on the road when I saw my friend Adithi. She was going inside a book store. I followed her. To my surprise, I met my old friends from the school. We talked for about 15 minutes and went to see some books. But, the rule in the shop is that you are not allowed to stand and read the books. You should buy them. So, I had no other choice but to buy the books. I got two books which I liked to read. Do you want to know what amazing happened next?

Suddenly, I met the author of the book I like very much. I went to greet him and ask his name, but the staff of the shop went to greet him. Then she ask him to sign his autographs on his posters which were pinned on the walls of the shop. I thought that it was a very good opportunity to take his autograph on my new book. So, I went to my friends and told them that the author of the famous comic book is signing on the posters so we can also get an autograph from him. So we went. He was signing all the posters on the will. We told him to sign on his book corner too. He went and signed there too. Then at last, I spotted a poster at the roof of the shop and I told him that it would be very nice if he would sign it too. He felt very proud of himself and went to sign there. But, he was not able to reach till the top. He asked the staff to use the boom stand. But that was a total useless idea and was also dangerous. Sure, after one minute, one shelf of the stand broke and he fell down to the ground with the whole book stand on the top.

After that, we had to call the ambulance to take him. The day after, a note was there in the book that the author is ill and his backbone is broken. So there is a holiday for the upcoming series of the book. It was a total bad experience for me. But, tis incident happened because of me. I was the one who told to do that. But, I hid myself from danger.....

Grade 5 - What If I Discovered A New Planet??
