The Himalayas

Hello Viewer! As told in the last blog I am back with another interesting blog about the Himalayas, the largest mountains of the world. So, let's start quickly.
The Himalayas is a mountain range in Asia separating the plains of the Indian Subcontinent from the Tibetian Plateau. These mountains ranges have Earth's Highest Peaks. These mountains provide us with basic needs such as food, water, fresh air etc. The Himalayas include over fifty mountains exceeding about a 7,200 m in elevation. As we see the highest peak of the Himalayas outside Asia is 6,961 m. The Himalayas have a freezing temperature of -4 degree Celsius in winters. Its normal temperature is about 10 degree Celsius.
The name of the Himalayas is derived from the Sanskrit words Hima and Laya which mean snow and receptacle or dwelling and when we join these two words it becomes the Himalayas and it means 'The Abode of Snow'. The Himalayas are divided into three parts they are- Himachal the higher mountain ranges, Himadri the middle mountain ranges and Shivaliks the lower mountain ranges. The Himalayas rise to the Kanchenjunga which is a massif which borders India and Nepal.
It is believed that the Manasa Sarovara is the waterfall of Kailash the place where Shiva and Parvati live end at some peak of the Himalayas. People also believe that some very powerful sages who have a direct connection with God also live in some corner of the Himalayas. Some people also believe that the Himalayas are a part of Kailash. There are many valleys near the Himalayas. There is also a temple of Ma Vaishnodevi for which you need to take a visa from China, it is because it needs to be travelled in a curved path otherwise we also have a chance of falling down from the peak. It is a wonderful spot from the top of the Vaishnodevi temple.
At last, I would conclude that the Himalayas are a fabulous and compelling Mountain ranges to visit during your vacations and are an amazing spot for pilgrimages to visit the Vaishnodevi temple. This is the end of this interesting blog, I will be back with another fantastic blog like this, Bye for now Viewers.
