4A - Christmas

Author : NISCHAL HARSHA

Christmas is celebrated on December 25th every year marking the birth of Jesus Christ.

I have spent a couple of Christmas's in the US when I was 6 to 8 yrs old. My fond memories were I loved playing with snow, making snowman's, snowball fights with my little brother and friends. It was so much fun and we looked forward to a white Christmas every year.

Nothing would make us more happy than a bowl of warm soup in this cold and chilly weather outside. Wearing warm clothes and stepping out to buy a Christmas tree. Then we as a family would decorate it and light it up with small LED lights. My parents would make us place cookies in a plate and a glass of warm milk under the tree for Santa on the eve of Christmas, so Santa could have it and put all the surprise gifts for us under the tree.

We would wake up the next day to a warm baking smell from the oven and make our way to the Christmas tree to find our presents. We opened them to find amazing toys and we thanked Santa (my parents in disguise) for the all the wonderful presents we got.

We celebrate the whole day with yummy food and bakes and have our friends and family visit us for all the more fun.

We cannot have enough of this joy and look forward for Christmas every year.

  1. Nice blog NISCHAL. When reading your blog I also got the taste of love. Christmas is not only about getting presents, it’s about being with you family. No matter where you spend Christmas in.
