A Tricky Task.....

 You all like playing with ball right? What would happen if your ball goes to someone's yard while you are playing? You go and get it right? But, what would you do if there is a dangerous animal? You feel scared. But you must somehow get back the ball right? Some likely incident happened with me too. I will tell you about it..


It was a nice Sunday morning and I was coming from the market with the items which my mother had asked me to buy. Suddenly, I saw my best friend Rita. She was holding a ball in her hand and she called me to play with her. So, I went home, gave the bag to my mother and came back happily to play with her. We were playing on the road passing the ball to each other by running. Suddenly, Rita threw the ball very fast and I could not catch it. It went into someone's yard. Do you want to know what happened after that??

I went inside to get the ball but suddenly stopped as I saw a great Labrador sleeping beside the ball as if guarding it from someone. I went and told it to Rita and she felt very scared. Then, I had a very good idea. I thought of going to the market and get some dog food and give it to the dog. While it is eating, I will suddenly take the ball and run away. Rita too liked that idea very much. So, we both set out to the market. It was a bit far away, but we could manage somehow as we had to get the ball back safely. We bought some dog food and some chips packet. We both were feeling hungry and wanted to eat it but, we could not do so. We came back to that house and inside its back yard. I called the owner of the dog. But, nobody answered. We both felt safe. Then, we went and called the dog. It started barking on us. I threw the chips packet to it. It ate like a hungry wolf. When I stepped forward, It started o bark again. So, this time, I gave the dog food. It started eating. Then with full speed I ran and took the ball and came out of the house. Me and Rita were so happy that we started to play with it again. This time too, it went into someone's back yard. When I went to get the ball, I felt very scared. Think what I saw there? I saw a crocodile!! Me and Rita ran away from there.

I felt that it was better to run away than to risk our life to bring that ball. We cannot give dog food or anything like that for a crocodile to eat. I will never forget this. It was totally like a very dangerous adventure for me and Rita.....

  My passion Everyone has their own passion. My passions are art and cooking. Since childhood, I have learnt drawing and painting which had both modern and traditional arts. Grade 5 - What If I Discovered A New Planet??
