Author : SABYASACHI UPADHYAY

Hello friends my name is sabyasachi today i am going to tell you more about simile.

What is a simile? a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind, used to make a description more emphatic or vivid (e.g.as brave as a lion ).

what do simile mean?Asimile is a phrase that uses a comparison to describe.

How do you write a simile?

  1. Think of one thing and what you want to say about it; do you want to say that something is big, boring, beautiful, or is it some quality you don't have an adjective for?
  2. Think of a second thing that shows the same or similar characteristic.
    1. Combine by saying that the first thing is “like” the second thing.

Ex as strong as an ox
as brave as a lion
as wise as a owl
as sweet as a honey
as blind as a bat
as tall as a giraffe
as big as an elephant
