The Milkmaid And Her Dreams Author : VEDANT S

 

This story is about a milkmaid who was always in a mood for day dreaming and then one day she learnt that not to daydream but instead focus on her job what she is doing.

One day there lived a milkmaid and her grandmother. They were really poor so they took up the job of distributing milk to everyone in their neighborhood. One day when the milkmaid was carrying a pail of milk to the market. She started daydreaming about sell the milk to the market and buy honey and then get a lot of money and then would buy a bag of gold with it. A rich man would ask her to marry him and then she would refuse and say no. By dreaming about that she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings and suddenly she tripped and fell. All the milk spilled and then she returned back to her grandmother and told her the whole story and then her grandmother was ashamed of her. Her grandmother suggested that to not daydream and focus on her work. She learnt that to not daydream and to focus on her work. The milkmaid asked her grandmother if she could carry the milk again and no mistakes. Then she promised her grandmother that she would not daydream and safely take the milk back to the market. Her grandmother gave her the pail of milk and then she set off and then she didn't arrived and she safely delivered the milk to the market and then she came back with a lot of money and then they became rich.

This was a great story and now the moral is that. Moral: Do not day dream stay focused on your work. The milkmaid also learnt the same lesson and then she will never do that mistake again.
