Catskill mountains

 

The Catskill mountains are located in southeast New York state.It is a mixture of public and private land,it occupies parts of four countries-Sullivan,Delavare,Greene,and Ulster.

In addition to breath taking natural attractions like waterfalls and scenery,the Catskill mountains are also famous for its different hiking trails,ski resorts and lakes.

Slide mountains is the highest peak in the Catskill mountains.It is 4180 feat elevated.It is located in the eastern region of the Catskill mountains,Ulster country.

The Catskill mountains has been an escape for those who are looking to leave the busy cities and relax.The Catskill is a natural paradise who are looking for the same.

The Catskill mountains where shaped by its water wise,which today also serve as hot spots for water sports like kayaking,canoeing,and rafting.The Catskill is also known as the birth place of American fly fishing.In addition to the boating and kayaking,the bodies of water throughout the Catskills also provide clean and unfiltered drinking water for nine million people.
