MY VISIT TO THE FARM
Tick…tock…tick…tock…. Time was going very slow as I was waiting in the shed and suddenly, I heard heavy beating footsteps. It was very frightening.
It was the summer vacation. I had decided to pay a visit to my grandparents’ farm. It was in the countryside. I traveled there in a car with my parents and sister. I could feel the gentle and cool breeze blowing on my face. We finally reached the farm after a three-hour-long drive. My grandparents were waiting for us. As soon as I got down from the car, I gave them a great big hug.
The name of the farm was ‘Bright Sunshine. My grandparents had a number of different animals. They had black, white, and brown cows, chirping birds, chuckling horses, and a fuzzy little duckling. I played with the animals all day. We decided to have dinner in an empty shed. I was waiting for my family in the shed and that was when I heard the scary footsteps. My imagination went wild. I thought that there were giants, goblins, or monsters outside.
I did not know what to do. There was nobody with me except for Pepper, the horse. I took an old rake which was lying in the shed into my hand for safety. I was brave enough to peep out of the shed window. I was relieved to see my family outside. I told them that I thought they were monsters. We all laughed and ate a family dinner by the campfire. I enjoyed my visit to my grandparents’ farm.
