MATHEMATICS IS THE SCIENCE OF NUMBERS AND SPACES WHICH EVEN WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE IS USED BY EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THIS EARTH EITHER FOR BUYING OR SELLINNG PRODUCTS FOR OPTIMIZING THE PROFITS OR TO CALCULATE THE TIME TO REACH SOMEWHERE,EVEN WITHOUT ACTUAALY USING THE FORMULAS OF MATHEMATICS IT IS BEING USED IN OUR LIFE.HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT REFERS TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN’S IN ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE WHEATHER IT BE MENTAL,PHYSICAL OR SOCIAL.

WHAT IS HOLISTIC?

HOLISTIC EDUCATION AIMS TO PREPARE STUDENTS TO MEET THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE AND ACADAMIES.THE YOUNG PEOPLE NOW NEED TO LEARN ABOUT THEMSELVES ABOUT HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS AND SOCIAL BEHAIVOUR ABOUT DEVELOPMENT OF THEMSELVES ALONG WITH THE SOCIETY,LEARN TO ANALYZE,TO THINK,MORE IMPORTANTLY TO BE HUMAN. A MATHEMATICS TEACHER TRIES TO INTEGRATE THE SUBJECT WITH A HOLISTIC APPROACH,MAKES STUDENTS AWARE OF THEIR REPONSIBLITES TOWARDS THE BETTERMENT OF OF THE SOCIETY.THIS SUBJCT FORCES THE STUDENT FOR MANY THINGS.

TO THINK LOGICALLY ;

OBSERVATION AND ANALYZATION OF PHEONOMEAN, REACTIONS AND FEEDBACK AND DRAW COCLUSIONS BASED ON THE INPUT.IT HELPS IN JUSTIFICATION OF STRATEGIES,ACTIONS AND DECISIONS AND THUS MAKE THE CHILD SELF SUFFICIENT.

CRITICAL THINKING INVOLVES EVALUATION OF SOURCES SUCH AS DATA, FACTS,REASEARCHING ECT.HELPS IN DRAWING REASONABLE CONCLUSIONS TO DISCRIMINATE BETWEEN USEFUL AND LESS USEFUL DATA.

CREATIVITY IS NECESSARY FOR INOVATION. CREATIVITY CANNOT BE EXPRESSED UNLESS THE STUDENT IS ENGAGED AND ABLE TO COMMIT BRAINPOWER TO APPLYING KNOWLEDGE IN AN INNOVATIVE WAY.DEVELOP PROBLEM SOLVING APPROACH AND THEREBY LEADING TO DECISION MAKING.THE PROCESS OF DECISION MAKING INVOLVES VARIOUS STAGES SUCH AS DEFINING THE PROBLEM,GENERATING THE SET OF POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS AND ITS IMPLEMENTION AND FINAALY ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF THE DECISION AND MODIFYING THE COURSE OF ACTION IF AND AS NEEDED.

CONCLUSION

MATHEMATICS TEACHERS SHOULD INSTILL CRITICAL AND ANALYTICAL THINKING IN THEIR STUDENTS TO GET MOTIVATED AND TRY TO FORMULATE THE RESULTS BY THEMSELVES,WHICH WILL HELP THEM IN DEALING WITH THE REAL LIFE PROBLEMS AND SITUATIONS EVENTUALLY HELPING IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOCIETY.
