The outbreak of the deadly coronavirus which originated in Wuhan , china hundreds of people have been infected and thousands of people have died. The spread of coronavirus was declared a pandemic by world health organization . COVID-19 had reached India , and it being the second most populated country in the world , it took drastic measures to prevent the spread . India was set under 21-day complete lockdown on march 24 , 2020 . On this announcement most of them works were stopped and students exams , education were postponed . This 21-day lockdown period is also been very productive depending on how you use it ! i would like to share how i have been spending my time during this lockdown. lockdown gave me more time to the things I loved, hobbies that had been previously swamped by schoolwork. I started baking, drawing and writing again, and felt free for the first time in months. I had forgotten how good it felt to be creative. I started spending more time with my family. we all enjoyed a lot by playing games with family and listening to there childhood stories how they used to study and how was the life that time . our family used to see Ramayana serial together which used to come on DD National. we used to watch movies together every weekend then our online classes started where we got time to interact with friends and teachers . These hard times are teaching us the value of everyday food items like fruits, vegetables, and groceries in our lives. They have become so valuable that nowadays they are not readily available. We are learning to manage ourselves with limited resources. We have learned to respect our farmers and the vendors who are bringing these essentials to our doorsteps. We have realized that we should never waste food because many people are unable to have even a single meal during this lockdown period. It has also taught us life beyond junk food as now we know that delicious food can be cooked at home too. We have become more alert about personal hygiene and cleanliness. The current situation has made us value the organizations who keep working day and night to make our life easy and smooth. We should be thankful to our government and police officers who are trying to make people follow the rules of social distancing. We should also be grateful to health workers who are putting their lives in danger to save thousands of lives. Lockdown is giving us many lessons about life. We have learnt to handle difficulties with a
positive mind, and I hope these lessons remain with us throughout life. There is an end to every nightmare, and this one shall end soon.
