Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a wellness practice that is originated in India and is about 5,000 years old. Isn't it a great thing? The word Ayurveda derives from the Sanskrit word"Ayur" which means"Life" and"Veda" which means"Science or Knowledge". It is all about Knowledge of Life. Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment. The Ayurvedic Treatment starts with an internal purification process, followed by a special diet, herbal remedies, massage therapy, yoga, and meditation. Goals of treatment aid the person by eliminating impurities, reducing symptoms, increasing resistance to disease, reducing worry, and increasing harmony in life. Herbs and other plants, including oils and common spices, are used extensively in Ayurvedic treatment.

Here are some of the different types of ayurvedic treatments:

  • Vamana (Emesis Therapy)
  • Virechana (Purgation Therapy)
  • Nasyam (Nasal Medication)
  • Vasthy (Medicated enema therapy)
  • Rakthamoksham (Bloodletting therapy)

Our Nature is like a Pharmacy. According to Ayurveda, the good habits that add to our health include eating three balanced meals at the same time daily. Lunch should be the heaviest, Dinner should be the lightest, and must be 3 hours previous to bedtime. Ayurveda helps in curing many kinds of diseases. The best benefit of consuming Ayurvedic medicine is that it is very safe and has no side effects. Our Nature has some of the most precious medicines.

So I suggest to you all that please don't run to the hospital if you are ill. First, try some homemade medicines. If in vain then go to the hospital. Ayurveda is a very strong medicine, so please consume it.

Thank you
