Hi friends,

Today's my blog is on Children's day

Festivals are times of celebration. There are many festivals that we celebrate with our family and friends. Some are religious festivals and some are national festivals.

Religious festivals: Festivals celebrated by people of different communities. Diwali, Christmas, Eid, Gurunanak
Jayanthi etc. are some of the religious festivals.

National Festivals: Festivals celebrated by people all over the country. Independence day, Teachers day, Republic day, Children's day etc. are some other National festivals.

children's day is one among them. In India we celebrate children's day on 14th November. It is the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru. He was the first prime minister of India. We all call him as" Chacha ". We celebrate this day to remember his fondness for children. On children's day a lot of activities are held for children. In some schools, teachers put up a show for the children.

As PUNDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU said, "The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country." Children’s day is a beautiful occasion to remember and celebrate the famous thoughts of Chacha Nehru. Celebration on children’s day is a great way to make both children and adults aware that children are the true future of the country. Hence everyone should understand the responsibility towards providing a fulfilled childhood to every child.

The love and care that we give to our Children today, disregard of their social and economic status, will bloom as the fate of our country tomorrow. Children’s day celebration is a tribute to this thought.

Thank You
Kushala S
