Introduction:-Hello world! Do you all love the festival of lights Diwali? Well I love that bright festival! This virus named Novel Coronavirus is dangerous, so we could not burst crackers :( even though most of you burst it. Now let us enter the world of the festival of Diwali!
- The word Diwali means rows of Diya’s (clay lamps).
- This festival is celebrated to honour the return of Lord Rama to his kingdom, Ayodhya, after 14 years of exile (deportation).
- It marks the victory of divine forces over wiked forces.
- During Diwali, houses are decorated with colours, lights, diyas (clay lamps), etc.
- New clothes, firecrackers and a variety of sweets are exchanged among family and friends.
- Goddess Laxmi is also worshiped during Diwali for wealth and prosperity.
- It is a five days festival in which Dhanteras, Choti Diwali, Diwali, Govardhan Pooja and Bai Dooj is celebrated one after the other.
