Spin-Off Of Madagascar

If you felt Madagascar was good, check out it's spin off Madagascar 2 : Escape to Africa. If you haven't checked out the last blog, please do so as it explains a lot about each character. So let's continue this craziness and fun.

Madagascar 2 was released in 19 December 2008. I watched this movie in JioCinema and I recommend doing the same as the subtitles and different language options give a lot of convenience for those who want to see it in their mother tongue. This movie still continues the same hilariousness of the previous movie. This movie shows the backstory of Alex and his friends and how little Alex ended up in the New York City Zoo.

Main Characters :
1.) Alex ( Used to be called as Alakay, Lion)
2.) Marty (Zebra)
3.) Melman (Giraffe)
4.) Gloria (Hippotamus)
5.) The Penguin Team ( A group of penguins, Particularly Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private)
6.) Mason and Phil ( Monkeys)
7.) Lemurs (King Julien, Maurice and Mort)

Plot : The story starts where it ended, back at Madagascar after learning that there is no fuel in the ship, animals try going by plane. After flying some distance, the plane crashed. After having an argument with Alex, the penguins and monkeys agree to fix the plane. Soon, they learn that they are in Africa and learn about how Alex came to the zoo. They found Alex's parents in which Zuba, the male lion was the Alpha lion. But an evil lion named Makunga wanted to be the alpha lion so he tricked Alex, made Zuba banish his own son and also make him unauthorised for alpha lion. After this, the water source was lowering and the reserve was falling apart. Makunga didn't care about it at all. When the animals were finding a solution, Melman reveals he loves Gloria. Soon, Alex found out the reason the water wasn't arriving by going out of the reserve. Alex and Zuba get caught by the tourists lost in the forest. Alex saves both of them with his dancing and breaks the dam. Makunga is striped of his title as alpha lion and is replaced with Zuba. Skipper marries a bobblehead doll and go on a tour with the monkeys and penguins. Alex, Melman, Marty and Gloria decide to stay in the reserve for a few days. But the penguins say they aren't coming back.

Listening to this I was shocked. I knew that Alex and the others would want revenge for what they did and I know nobody would want to miss that. As I said in my previous blog, we will certainly discuss all sequels. So, there is one more and I am looking forward to discuss it with you guys. Once again, this is Super Blogger Sree signing off.
