The three promises part -1

The three promises part -1 HASINI R Feb 25 2022 Hi everyone my name is Hasini.R. Today I an going to narrate a story. A young man named Aditya was walking through a forest. He came across a well. Aditya was thirsty and wanted to drink some water. But he was shocked to see a tiger, a snake and a man trapped inside the well, which was dry. All three pleaded with Aditya to pull them up. Aditya was scared. “What if the tiger eats me? What if the snake bites me?” he thought. But the tiger assured him that he wouldn’t harm Aditya if he rescued him. The snake hissed in agreement. Aditya threw a long rope inside the well to help the three out. The tiger came out first. “Thank you for helping me friend. If you are ever in this forest again, come visit me at my home. I promise to repay you for your help,” the tiger said. The snake was the next to come out. “You are a brave young man. I promise that I will be there whenever you need my help. All you need to do is take my name,” the snake said.

How to make others happy ?? (Let's find the secret!) SUNIDHI K SHENOY Feb 25 2022 When we are feeling low or lost in our own world,We feel sad and stressed. We feel like we need someone to make us happy and forget our pain. But nowadays there are very less people who have the quality to make someone happy... While typing the above paragraph I was reminded of a lyric from the song 'ALONE pt2 by Alan Walker' By the way,Here is the lyric that popped up into my mind- ''We all need that someone who gets you like no one else Right when you need it the most We all need a soul to rely on, a shoulder to cry on A friend through the highs and the lows'' Well,This is true right? WHAT IS KINDNESS? Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate . ... Whereas, being kind is doing intentional, voluntary acts of kindness. Not only when it's easy to be kind, but when it's hard to be. CAN SHOWING KINDNESS MAKE OTHERS HAPPY? Kindness rel

CRICKET BAT DHEEKSHA. Feb 19 2022 A cricket bat is a specialised piece of equipment used by batters in the sport of cricket to hit the ball, typically consisting of a cane handle attached to a flat-fronted willow-wood blade. It may also be used by a batter who is making ground to avoid a run out, by holding the bat and touching the ground with it. Vibrations of a bat are largest in amplitude when the ball is struck right at the tip of the bat. Such an impact usually stings the hands. Vibrations are weakest when the bat strikes the ball at one or other of the two node points about 6 in. from the tip of the bat The bat twist on the hand during the ball impact occurs due to a number of reasons, such as the speed of the incoming ball, impact of the ball away from the sweet spot region, grip on the handle, body weight balance, footwork, etc.
air bag MAYA Feb 19 2022 hello friends and teacher, my name is maya and today i will talk about the pbl project.when was it created ? Air-filled bladders were in use as early as 1951. The airbag specifically for automobile use is credited independently to the American John W. Hetrick, who filed for an airbag patent on 5 August 1952, that was granted #2,649,311 by the United States Patent Office on 18 August 1953.how does it work? Airbags help your body stop more slowly, reducing the risk of injury and death. ... So even if your body is fastened tight, the same basic law of physics says your head will keep on going and smash into the steering wheel or the glass windshield (windscreen). That's where airbags come in.do air bags hurt?no, but the force of hitting the airbag can cause (less serious) injuries from abrasions to broken bones. If your airbags deploy, your car may be totalled.

Describe your visit to an old age home - MANASVI - 3D

Describe your visit to an old age home MANASVI Feb 14 2022 Old as home is a home of people who either have no family or have been abandoned by their families. A visit to an old age home is a life - changing experience as it is filled with emotions and sentiments. I had an opportunity to visit an old age home the Guru Vriddha Ashram. The old age home was situated in the outside of the city and was close to the national highway. It was a two storey building with a garden. When I visited an old age home , I got to know that being old is not easy. I could actually see the pain and loneliness in each person's eye. We had taken some daily used items like soaps , bed sheets , fruits , snacks , etc... Some people in the old age home were very aged and they didn't have teeth and their voice was cracking too. A group of old men were sitting on the chair around a round table in the garden area. When I reached I ran straight to my mother and hugged her tight saying that I would never aba

how does bees make honey

Image
How do bees make honey? 03/06/2021 Have you ever wondered how bees make honey? Step 1: The worker bees will land inside or close to the flower and suck the nectar out using her proboscis (tongue) and collect in it a little sac called a crop or other wise known as a honey stomach. Step 2: When her nectar sac is full, the honeybee will return to the hive. The worker bee will then pass the nectar to a hive bee by regurgitating the liquid into the hive bees mouth. Step 3: The worker bee will fly off and continue to collect nectar again whilst the hive bee deposits the nectar into a honeycomb. Initially the honey stored in the cells is still a bit wet, sothe bees fan their wings over it, which helps the water to evaporate. After some time, the water content is reduced to around 17%. Step 4: When most of the water has evaporated from the honeycomb, the bee seals the comb with a secretion of liquid from its abdomen, which eventually hardens into beeswax. This process is a little bit like put

Honey bees

Honey bees KRISHNA Feb 17 2022 Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today I will be telling you all about bees. Lets start with some intresting facts about them. Did you know that bees have 5 eyes. The reason bees are so noisy is because they beat their wings 11,400 times in one minute! Honey bees communicate through a series of dance moves. A hive of bees will fly over 55,000 miles to make 1lb of honey and can create 100lbs of honey in a year. The Honey Bee is the only insect that makes food man can eat. There are many kinds of bees like honey bees, bumblebees, africanized honey bees, mason bee etc.......... Bees are very helpful to the environment. An apiary is a place where there is a collection of beehives to extract honey. Without bees we can't have burger or pizza because pollinated crops become vegetables and fruits. So, no bees means no crops and no crops means no food. Let us all be very responsible towards our environment and ensure that there are more and more bees

THE BABYSITTER By HARSHIKA

Hi everyone I am Harshika.K.N. from 'A' section and today I have a small story for you. "Whenever my parents will go out every night, my big brother hated it because I would not go to bed! Whenever I went and disturbed him, he'd shout, he'd rant and rave "WILL YOU GO TO BED!", but I never went. But when I heard the sound of the door being opened with the door handle, I would go to my room and in my bed in a flash. A few months later, my mom and dad tried something new. Just before going out, they said to me "Right Taksh, I want you to go to your room and in your bed and I want you to STAY THERE!". I was like"okay, yeah, okay" and I went to my room waiting for the door to-SLAM!. I ran downstairs and into my brother's room and was seeing what is he doing. He was reading a book but normally he'd shout at me to go to bed, but this time he did not even notice me as if I was not there in the room at all! So what I did is I peeked a

A Meeting With A Friendly Alien On My Terrace!

It was a hot summer night and I decided to sleep on my terrace. I took a packet of chips and my mobile phone along with me. I was eating the chips when I fell asleep. Suddenly I woke up hearing a strange noise. I looked at the moon, it was increasing in size and appearing more brighter! Then I saw a spaceship land on the terrace . An alien comes out of it! The alien had purple eyes, a round face with a long nose! The alien took me to his spaceship and asked me in a friendly tone, "Where would you like to go?" I said, " I would love to go to the Himalayas and enjoy the cool weather." The alien flew the spaceship and within a second, I was on top of Mount Everest! I enjoyed the cool weather very much and then requested him to take me back home. After returning, gave some chips to the alien and we had a good time eating them together. The alien went back and I waved him goodbye. I wanted to call my friend and narrate to him the event when I suddenly realized that I had

Childhood is definitely fun because everyone will be so whipped to see the small children .like the way they talk for example when the small baby talks for the first time telling any words they record it or take photo and fell so happy and the same way when the babies they walk for the first time they feel very good and putting some costumes or taking photographs month wise with a theme this all is when our parents to when we are small now when we grow up we calm it as childhood days. Wild life

Forest is complete when there are many different creatures, animals, birds, plants ponds, rivers, etc in the forest. It gives life to many living beings. But it is their own duty to protect themselves from their enemies and to fill their tummy whenever required by putting their own energy. We feel wild animals are dangerous as they are not domesticated. In olden days many people use to kill many animals and sell the bones, skin of the animal, for example they would sell the elephant tusks and would get money. For human profit they killed many animals before but they did not think about the balancing of the environment which those wild animals did.  The normal functioning of the biosphere depends on endless interaction among animals, plants and micro organisms. All the living creatures that is their In the forest depend on the trees even we. If we are living on this is because of the that gives fresh air to breath, without that no not even one small living creatures also could survive

ANDROID....

Android is developed by a consortium of developers known as the Open Handset Alliance and commercially sponsored by Google. It was unveiled in November 2007, with the first commercial Android device, the HTC Dream, being launched in September 2008. It is free and open-source software; its source code is known as Android Open Source Project (AOSP), which is primarily licensed under the Apache License. However most Android devices ship with additional proprietary software pre-installed, most notably Google Mobile Services (GMS) which includes core apps such as Google Chrome, the digital distribution platform Google Play and the associated Google Play Services development platform. BOOKS!

From time immemorial we are reading books. Reading is a fantastic form of knowledge acquisition. It helps in better cognitive processing which uses multiple parts of our brain. It also helps us in doing imagination and helps in visuospatial processing. It stimulates the areas of the brain like the left occipital-temporal cortex which response to images of faces.
